Morning Folks a massive thank you to everyone that turned up this morning to see the guys off from Irvine Town House on day 9 and on there way to Tyndrum. We also have a new guy cycling with them for the Scottish leg of the charity cycle Bernie Mullen so many thanks to Bernie and safe journey.
The guys have also been joined by a few extra cyclist’s today both supporters and neighbours of Mark and Elaine for the start of today so a big thank you to these guys and their support.
Only 4 days left and the guys have had fantastic support throughout the cycle with a great turn out this morning from locals, friends , family, Lord Provost Ian Clarkson and Kilmarnock Football Club with their development squad and Manger Andy Millen so again, thank you to these guys, great local support and spreading the word. Ayrshire Magazine were also there and even managed a quick live feed facebook interview with the guys, which can be seen on their page: https://www.facebook.com/ayrshiremagazine/
I would also like to thank Police Scotland for community support and traffic division for the police escort through Irvine and Kilwinning on getting the boys off to a safe start on what is to be a long hard cycle up to Tyndrum. PC Cliff lead the way and headed up the front of the cyclists on their journey through the town on their way.
